I decided one morning last week to drive over to Shell bay on the Studland peninsular just outside Poole harbour rather than take the ferry across from Sandbanks. This was because the ferry starts its service normally at 7am and I wanted to get into position much earlier. The road from where I live to Shell Bay takes me through the villages of Wareham and Corfe Castle to the National Trust car park right on Shell Bay.
I spent a good couple of hours exploring this coastline as the photographic compositions kept changing as the tide went out. These are some of the images I captured. NB Just 400 yards further along this coast is an official naturist beach which I managed to avoid straying onto!
